The Environmental and Social Sustainability (ESS) program helps increase enterprise competitiveness through improvements in labor standards, working conditions, dispute resolution, and environmental regulations compliance – as can be seen in our current work with the International Labor Organization. By advising companies on proper technologies/equipment, affordable consultancy services, and scale of investment needed, we help prepare them for the increasingly competitive global supply chain. Our work also enables commercial banks to substantively increase lending to energy saving projects and others that promote environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. We are therefore uniquely suited to assist local companies at the forefront of development, where efficiency, quality, productivity, and environmental issues are intertwined.
